What is the REAL Colorado Test going to look like?
When do we take it? End of April
What does it look like? 80 Questions over all the science you have learned, taken over three days of testing
Is it on paper or online? The entire test is done online
What type of questions does it ask? The tests asks a wide range of questions including multiple choice, written response, and questions that you have to move objects like a real experiment.
How to use the online test:
The online test has a lot of features that can help you take the test. Here are a few that you need to be able to use:
1) Top Arrows: Used to move back and forth between the questions
2) Review: Push this button to review the entire test- which questions you answerd, skipped, or flagged
3) Flag: Flag a question if you want to come back to it later
4) Cursor: This will allow you to choose an answer or move objects in the question
5) Calculator: Push this button to access a calculator
6) X: Use this button to cross out an answer choice that you know is not correct.
7) Name/Sign in: This area should say your name and is how you sign out of test if instructed by a teacher.
8) Play Arrow: Push this button to have the question read aloud
9) Image/Objects: Questions often have images or objects. Some questions will have you move or change the objects as part of your answer.
